Ed eccomi qui a raccontare un po' di me :-)
La mia vita cinofila nasce da piccola, molto piccola. A due anni vantavo già un poderoso pastore tedesco che mi faceva da fratello maggiore, a cinque giocavo con il cocker spaniel di mia zia attentamente vigilata da genitori e parenti che mi insegnavano piano piano che lui era un amico da trattare come tale e non un gioco.
In seguito non ho più avuto cani miei, abitavo in appartamento e oltre a gatti, criceti e pesci rossi non abbiamo mai tenuto altro.
Fino a che, nel 2006, decisi che era per me giunto il momento di condividere la mia esistenza con un quattro zampe: ed eccomi in giro per canili, a cercare una femmina dal pelo lungo. E' così che arrivò Pongo :-)
Da subito lui portò gioia e felicità nella mia vita e decisi di iniziare a documentarmi con libri, giornali e quant'altro perché volevo fortissimamente fare qualcosa con lui. Ed è così che iniziammo i primi passi di Obbedienza e di Agility Dog. La strada fu lunga e tortuosa, ma non è questa la sede in cui parlerò di lui.
Avevo ancora in testa una femmina a pelo lungo, e dopo varie consultazioni ivi comprese con la mia coach, il 15.02.2012 abbiamo festeggiato la nascita di Ivy Blue, bellissima sheltina blue merle scatenata e un po' pazzerella che fu subito accolta da Pongo all'arrivo in casa...con un grugnito di disapprovazione.
Ci vollero due mesi prima che Pongo la accettasse, nonostante lei cercasse in tutti i modi di giocare e farsi notare da lui, finché adesso non son diventati inseparabili.
Loro sono la mia famiglia, con loro ho iniziato varie attività in cinofilia come l'Agility Dog, Obedience, Sheepdog, Handling. Ho appreso tanto da loro e ricevo amore incondizionato. Amo lavorare con loro e a loro piace lavorare con me. Come non essere più felice? :-)

First of all, I'd like to tell you something about myself :-)

My life with dogs started when I was a young girl, a very young girl. When I was two, I already had a huge German shepherd as my "big brother”. When I was five, I played with my aunt’s cocker spaniel, closely supervised by my relatives and parents, who taught me, little by little, that the dog was my friend and should be treated accordingly, non like a toy.
In the years to come, we had no more dogs living with our family. We lived in a flat and only had cats, hamsters, goldfishes and no other animals.
But then in 2006, I decided that it was time for me to share my live with a four-legged friend. So I started visiting shelters looking for a long-haired bitch. That’s how I got Pongo :-) 

He immediately brought joy and happiness into my life, and I started reading books, magazines and other documentation because I was really striving to undertake some kind of activity with him. That was how we started training obedience and dog agility. It took us down a long and winding road, but I'm telling his story elsewhere.
I was still wishing for a long-haired bitch, and after consulting various parties, including my trainer, we celebrated the birth of Ivy Blue, a very beautiful, highly active and a little bit crazy blue-merle shetland sheepdog, who was welcomed by Pongo with a grunt of disapproval when she moved in with us.
It took two months for Pongo to accept her even if she did her very best to play with him and win his attention, and now they cannot live without one another.
They are my family, and together we’ve been training several dog sports such as dog agility, obedience, herding and conformation show handling. I’ve learned a lot from them, and they give me unconditional love. I really enjoy training with them, and they are fond of working with me. I couldn’t be more happy with them :-)
